Lifting of Suspension of Authorization to Offer Remittance Services

Further to Notice published on 28 February 2025, advising of suspension of remittance services at Joong Supermarket & Wholesale Limited, located at 68 Newland Road, Bridgeport, St Catherine, Bank of Jamaica hereby advises that the suspension has been lifted, effective 04 March 2025. This follows the company’s approval for reopening by the South East Regional Health Authority (SERHA).
In this regard, GraceKennedy Remittance Services Limited (GKRS) and Lasco Financial Services Limited (LFSL) are authorized to resume offering remittance services at this location.
