This table reports the value of foreign currency accounts held at Deposit-Taking Institutions, in terms of thousands of United States dollars (US$). These accounts include the Foreign Currency ‘A’ , ‘B’ accounts and other accounts.
Data represents the foreign exchange purchases and sales volumes for Authorized Dealers and Cambios of all currencies stated in the equivalent of US$Mn.
Table shows the value of US currency bought and sold by the BOJ via its B-FXITT instrument at settlement date.
