Table shows trend in non-performing and past-due loans by economic sector. The data represents the stock of Non-Performing Loans (NPL) and Past Due Loans (PDL) aggregated across the supervised deposit-taking sector (commercial banks, building societies and merchant banks).
NPLs are loans under which principal and or interest have not been contractually paid by 90 days or more. PDLs are loans under which principal and or interest have not been contractually paid by 30 to 90 days.
