A key element of the Bank’s communication strategy is the publication of its Quarterly Monetary Policy Report (QMPR). Bank of Jamaica’s Monetary Policy Report is published four times a year. This publication discusses, in a non-technical manner, economic developments for the review quarter and provides forecasts of key macroeconomic variables, including inflation.

The Bank’s QMPR is launched at its Quarterly Press Conference and aims to explain the Bank’s most recent monetary policy decision. It also presents a brief analysis of recent economic developments and provides an update of its near and medium-term forecasts of macroeconomic variables in the international and domestic economies. The report is made available to the public through the Bank’s website.
